- I have seen some things of which I have no explaination, shadows, orbs, etc. But, most often, I FEEL something. This happens when I am in specific places, such as my moms house. Sometimes, the energy I pick up on is "thick", usually not good or evil, but neutral. Also, I had an out o f body experience once that propelled me into this "spiritual quest". I am convinced that event was a glimpse of the other side and it was the most intense, amazing experience I could have even imagined. There are no words to describe it!

- My name is Dawn, I am single, 39, and I live in West Michigan.
I am a "thinker". I love to analyze things, learn how "stuff" works, and explore why things are the way they are. I live alone, and do not really watch T.V. -- most of my time is spent with family, in nature, reading, or online. I love to be outside taking pictures of animals, Lake MI, birds, trees, anything that soothes me. I only read non-fiction books: some of my favorite authors are Neale Donald Walsch, Abraham-Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Iyanla Vanzant, Caroline Myss, Deepak Chopra, and Marianne Williamson. When I am online, I am busy keeping up with MySpace, listening to Hay House Radio, anything spirituality based.
I truly believe that "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear" and "we teach what we need to learn". It is these words that drive me on my "spiritual quest". I began this journey when I had an out of body experience in 1994. I will write a blog to explain this life altering, phenomenal event -- as much as it can be turned into words. In another blog, I will write about an encounter I had with The Divine in 2004, which honestly saved my life. That day, I was shown physically and psychically that there is a real, undeniable presence of utter love in this universe. I believe that as each of us raises our individual consciousness, the consciousness of our world will be increased -- one day reaching critical mass. Our journey toward peace is moving quickly and each of us has a part to play in that creation. I also believe that our planet is a divine manifestation of our creator and is, therefore, sacred.
I am still partially wounded from a recent break-up; however, I do not focus on that. I am moving forward in creating/manifesting my desires and I am extremely peaceful knowing that all I want for my life is within my reach. I can do, be, and have anything I want. Makes for a wonderful life, yes?
I have a fascination with "the other side" and recently, I have been exploring the world of Quantum Physics. For all of human history, mankind has debated religion vs. science. I am convinced that the science of Quantum Physics will unite them. This is very exciting, cutting edge research -- sometimes hard to wrap my brain around, as it is seriously complex. But, fascinating all the same.
